Submitting Tax Information to
Hurst, Kelly & Company LLC

Tax Return Information can be submitted to us in various ways. It can be dropped off at our office in person with our receptionist, dropped off 24/7 using the secure drop box we have located just outside our office front door, mailed to us using our office address, or uploaded using our secure portal hosted by SmartVault.

If during the preparation and review process a team member has a question or believes some information may be incomplete, they will reach out to you. Once your returns have been reviewed and completed, we can mail you hard copies, have hard copies ready for you to pick up, or provide you with a PDF of your completed returns. A member of our team will call you to go over the tax return with you and to see if you have any questions.

If you are submitting your tax information to us electronically this year, you will first upload your tax information to SmartVault. Once you have uploaded all your information to SmartVault, you will send an email to info@hurstkelly.com to let us know that your information has been uploaded and that your returns are ready for preparation and review.

The three-step process for uploading information to us is as follows:

Step 1 - View and become familiar with our SmartVault Upload Requirements by clicking here.

Step 2 – Upload your information to SmartVault.

Forgot your password for SmartVault - click the link above to access SmartVault and in the Sign In page that opens click the Can't Sign In? link in the lower right-hand corner to reset your password.

Don't have a SmartVault account - email info@hurstkelly.com, and provide your full name, phone number on file, and mention that you are requesting SmartVault access, and a team member will set up your account access and respond to your email request confirming such.

Step 3 – Create and send an email to info@hurstkelly.com.

The purpose of the email is to let us know you have uploaded your information to SmartVault so that we can process the uploaded documents and begin the tax return preparation process.
